We were able to go to California to visit Cory's sister and her family. We also were able to go to the zoo, and other than it being really crowded it was a lot of fun (I had never been)

Rowan "reading" the sign. He was even saying something as he was pointing

No Fear!

Sleeping babies (they are exactly a month a part!)
Than we were able to go to the beach!

Here is what we have been up to. Malachi has been doing better but still pretty fussy.

This is me trying to get a pic of him happy
And this is me succeeding!! He has the cutest smile! (He cooes too but I haven't been able to get a good video of it)
Rowan loves to give him kisses
Our friends came over and I loved that Malachi and Monica's outfits matched!!!

One of the only ways to stay cool here is splash pads! And Rowan loved them!

Malachi loves to be held and even way up it the air!! I can't believe how well he holds his head!
Rowan playing with a top
Swimming with good friends

He has NO fear of water.
He loves to stare at his brother
Finally asleep

Rowan loves his books and will often have most of his books in his bed!

When Cory gets his hands wet he will pretend to sneeze on Rowan. This is Rowan doing it back!

Cakewrecks is one of my favorite blogs and they came here to Tempe! I was going to do a cupcake wreckplica to enter into their contest but didn't have a lot of time. Than I remembered that a few weeks ago they had flip flop cake that people thought had bacon as the straps. So I made one with bacon and it got me in the top 3!!! Yeah.

Birthday and Memorial Day

Rowan had a fun 2nd birthday. I failed to plan an actual party because of the stress of the new baby and planning the trip to Utah. But we had some friends throwing a Memorial day BBQ and so we made a cake for that and had him blow out his candles than.
One thing he got for his birthday was a huge bag full of blocks from Cory's mom. He loves them and I am hoping to paint some of them with child ok paint so he can start learning his colors while playing with them.

Rowan likes to climb into Malachi's swing
I love it when his toes poke through on the crocheted blankets
Me trying to be a photographer
Malachi's "old man" hair!

Hanging out with daddy

For Rowan's Birthday I also wanted some one on one time with him. So Cory took Malachi and Rowan and I went to a splash pad park with a train and carousel and play ground

He likes to put his face in the water and blow bubbles..and I snapped the pic and the perfect time!!!
Waiting for the water to come up (he got impatient and left before the water came!)

He got this great towel and backpack from a good friend for his birthday!
This is the cake I made. I decided that I would buy him toy cars for his birthday and decorate his cake with them, rather than wrap them up! He loved it! My camera was acting up so I didn't get a video of him blowing the candles out
He loves AJ!
Playing with his cars

Playing with the goal markers for ultimate frisbee
