2 weeks ago we went to Utah to see my brother Dave graduate from college (Way to go Dave!!)  Pics to come soon of our trip.  Since getting back I have realized that I need to set goals again like I did on my mission.  I am going to us this blog to keep progress of how I am doing. 
This week I have 2 goals...
#1:  update the blog with pictures from my trip (must find usb cord for camera first!!)
#2: finish crocheting a blanket I started over a month ago and am still only on row 5!!! (this is baby blanket so its small!!)

Happy Birthday Malachi!!! I love your smile and your gorgeous eyes.  You have been a handful but so worth it.  You love to cuddle and are a daddy's boy, 100%    You play well with your brother and I hope you guys continue to get along!    LOVE YOU KAI!!!!

While work, 2 kids and my own insecurities (everyone else's blogs are so much more fancy than mine!) have kept me from blogging recently there has a lot that has happened.  And so I don't get overwhelmed and give up posting again.  I will try to post a new thing every other day

Today Kai took his FIRST STEPS!!!!! (his actual first step was Sunday, but he wouldn't do it again for camera or anyone else til today.  And now he is consistently doing it!!)

Thankful

While looking through my pictures today I realized how thankful I am for technology.  I know it can be a pain and annoyance sometimes, but it allows me to keep in touch with family and friends.  Relax and watch pointless things that make me laugh, cry or both.  It lets me take a plane to see family so they are never really too far away.  

     So I didn't post it yesterday, but my goal is to do a post every day this month about what I am thankful for.  Yesterday was the Fall Festival.

Today, I am thankful for really good friends.  For the talks we have, for the tears, for the laughs, for everything they do for me.  I would not be who I am without you ALL!!!!  Not all the pics of my friends, but its late :)
